This two-hour live online workshop will explore expressive techniques for grasses, greens, and greenery, including the pirouette stroke and palette knife applications.
The session introduces the foundational principles of xieyi freehand brush painting as a conceptual framework, covers colour mixing for naturalistic, luminous, and moody greens, and provides guided demonstrations with Q&A to build skill in expressive, loose watercolour.
Prior watercolour experience is recommended. This workshop was originally offered in 2025.
