Accuracy of Representation

Every effort is made to represent artwork faithfully. Colours may vary slightly due to differences in monitors, printers, or digital displays.

Delivery & Risk

Once artwork leaves the studio, delivery cannot be guaranteed beyond the precautions and care taken in packaging and shipping. Buyers acknowledge that carrier delays, customs processing, or external factors are outside the seller’s control.

Agreement to Policies

By completing a purchase, buyers agree to the Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy in effect at the time of order.

Permitted Use

All artwork and workshop materials are provided for personal use only. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from the artist.

Copyright

All artwork and workshop materials are protected under copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, resale, or derivative use is strictly prohibited. Copyright remains with the artist at all times.

Policy Updates

These Terms of Service may be updated without prior notice. By purchasing or participating in workshops, buyers agree to the terms in effect at the time of their transaction.

Respect for Privacy

Your privacy is valued and respected.

Information Collected

Personal information collected during purchase (such as name, address, and email) is used solely for:

• Processing and fulfilling orders

• Communicating with buyers about their purchases

Use of Information

• Information is never shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties except as required to complete shipping or comply with legal obligations.

• Email addresses collected for updates, waitlists, or newsletters are used only to send relevant communications. Subscribers may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided in each email.

Data Security

Reasonable measures are taken to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

This privacy policy may be updated without prior notice. By purchasing or subscribing, buyers agree to the terms in effect at the time of their transaction.

Carrier

All artwork ships via Canada Post with tracking where available.

Packaging

Works up to 9 × 12 inches are shipped flat in a rigid protective mailer with archival sleeve and backing board.

Larger works are packaged individually with reinforced materials to ensure safe transit.

Processing & Delivery Times

Orders ship within five business days, usually sooner. Estimated delivery times:

• Canada: 5–10 business days

• United States: 7–15 business days

• International: 10–20 business days

Delivery times are carrier estimates and may be affected by customs or external delays beyond the seller’s control.

Shipping Fees

Flat-rate shipping per order:

• Canada: $15 CAD

• United States: $20 CAD

• International: $25 CAD

Orders over $150 CAD (artwork value only) ship free worldwide. Multiple items ship together at the same flat rate.

Tracking

Tracking is provided for all shipments where available.

United States Customers

Original artwork exported from Canada is generally exempt from U.S. import duties under the Canada–United States–Mexico Agreement (CUSMA). Packages are labelled: “Original Artwork, Not for Resale, Exempt under CUSMA.” Final clearance decisions rest with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

International Customers

Buyers outside Canada and the U.S. are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees. Please review local import regulations before purchase.

Insurance

Shipments include standard carrier insurance. Coverage may not equal the full artwork value. Additional insurance can be arranged upon request prior to purchase.

Address Accuracy

Buyers must provide a complete and accurate shipping address. Costs or losses due to incorrect addresses are the buyer’s responsibility.

Lost or Delayed Parcels

The seller is not liable for delays or losses caused by carriers or customs. However, assistance will be provided in filing claims with the carrier. Refunds or replacements depend on carrier resolution.

Damaged Shipments

All artwork is packaged to ensure safe arrival. If a parcel arrives damaged, notify the seller within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the packaging and artwork. The seller will assist in filing a claim with the carrier. Refunds or replacements are not guaranteed and depend on carrier resolution.

Final Sale

Each piece is original artwork. For this reason, all sales are final and returns are not accepted except in cases of shipping damage.

Damaged Shipments

If artwork arrives damaged in transit:

• Contact the seller at vinessa@pigmentsandmood.com within 7 days of delivery.

• Provide clear photographs of the packaging and the damaged artwork.

• The seller will assist in filing a claim with the carrier.

• Refunds or replacements are not guaranteed and depend on carrier resolution and insurance coverage.

Insurance & Resolution

Shipments include standard carrier insurance. Coverage may not equal the full artwork value. Additional insurance can be arranged upon request prior to purchase. Buyers choosing not to request additional insurance accept the limits of standard coverage.

Non-Damage Returns

Returns or refunds for reasons other than shipping damage (including change of mind, size, or colour preference) are not accepted.

Item Format & Attendance

• All workshops are conducted live via Zoom and are not recorded.

• Attendance in real time is required to fully participate and benefit from the instruction.

• Participants are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and using a compatible device with the Zoom application installed.

Scheduling

• Workshops are scheduled in Eastern Time (ET). Participants are responsible for adjusting to their local time zone.

Cancellations & Credits

• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to receive a credit toward a future workshop.

• Refunds are not available.

Materials & Access

• Workshop materials and Zoom links are sent within 24 hours of registration.

• If the email is not received, participants should check spam folders and contact vinessa@pigmentsandmood.com promptly.

Intellectual Property

• Workshop content—including demonstrations, techniques, and materials—is the intellectual property of Vinessa Redford.

• Content may not be recorded, reproduced, distributed, or shared publicly in any form without prior written consent.
